Stars and guests of
Paignton's new panto managed to donate more
than magic beans through the production
of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Paignton
Pantomime Productions support a good cause
each year and this time it was the turn
of the Friends of the Palace Theatre.
Collections
were held at the end of each show and a
massive £600 was raised - which was doubled
by the Society to £1,200.
And in
the wake of the Boxing Day Tsunami, donations
were given to help the relief effort and
£158 was raised.
Now plans are already
swinging into action to arrange next year's
panto at the Palace Theatre, Paignton.
If
you were one of the 3,160 people who saw
the acclaimed show and have been inspired
to help out, then contact the Society Chairman,
Colin Gilderthorp on 01803 212999.
