PAIGNTON PANTO – ALADDIN 2008 - REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

PPP “ALADDIN” REHEARSAL SCHEDULE – SUBJECT TO CHANGE !!

REHEARSAL VENUES : We have had problems booking all our rehearsals at St Lukes Church Hall this year, hence the delay in issuing this schedule. Therefore some of the rehearsals are in other halls. We apologise for the Tuesday dance rehearsal being in Paignton but there was no other alternative and it cannot be on another night. PLEASE READ THE SCHEDULE CAREFULLY . If rehearsal is at a different hall, then the schedule states this. If not stated, then the rehearsal is at St Lukes. Please also check carefully the times.

REHEARSAL TIMES : please ensure you attend on time, ready to start at the time stated. You therefore need to arrive about 5 or 10 minutes beforehand AT LEAST to ensure you are ready to start at the correct time. We will endeavour to finish by 10pm (ish), but please be patient if we over-run. Juniors can leave earlier at times stated.

ABSENCE : Absence without prior warning is not an option . Knowing what kind of commitment this show would entail, you should have organised your other commitments around it. Thus absence is really only for illness, school or work related issues, or by prior notification already given to the director. (i.e. holidays etc) If you know you are going to be late or absent for some unavoidable reason, please telephone Iain in good time.

REHEARSAL DRESS : Please wear appropriate foot wear / dance wear – No trainers.

NOTE : The initials on the schedule state which production team members will be present .

D (Iain) ; MD (John or machine ) and C (Elaine/Amanda).

Principals should try to learn their lines as soon as possible. If you can know them by each blocking rehearsal that would be good. If not, make sure you now them by the time we come to revise the blocking. Chorus and dancers should know the words to the song we are setting at each rehearsal.

Where the schedule states DANCE REHEARSAL – that means Juniors and male/female dancers. It does not include principals or chorus unless stated.
