Well, here we are at the end of the second week of floor rehearsals and what headway we have made in a short space of time. We always have to work hard and prepare the show in a short space of time because so many of the team are usually involved in the Toads Stage Musical Co autumn musical, which this year finished on November 4th. I was in that show, Elaine Johnson (PPP joint choreographer) was also in the show and John Amery was MD. Anyway since November 5th we have had more two music rehearsals, plotted all the dialogue for the principals for the entire show, and staged the first 4 big production numbers. It is shaping up well, and I am very pleased....so far !!! We have had lots of laughts at the principals rehearsals. The script is very funny and will hopefully get all sections of the audiences laughing. There is plenty of visial comedy for the kids, and lots of double-entendres for the adults. We also have a new cast member.....Fido, the Singing Cabbage !!!!! Do Not ask ! Book a seat and all will be revealed. |
