It is
the intention of the Society to embark on a programme of lectures, seminars and
dance days, some for our own members only and others to be open to members of
other local societies and organisations.
Guest speakers and practitioners will be invited to
pass on their theatrical knowledge and expertise thereby enhancing the standards
of performance already achieved by the various societies in the South Devon
area. This expansion of the Society's activities is intended to bolster both the
level of performance for our own annual pantomime and maintain an interest
amongst the membership between the end of one pantomime and the commencement of
rehearsals for the next.
A programme is to be devised for 2002 that will be
advertised on this page and there will be reports and photographs of the events
that have already taken place. |
