Hello to everyone at PPP, especially
Georgie, David, Iain and co. and of course the Webmaster who kindly sent me a
message 'way back. I have only today caught up with your new website so this
is in haste . To David Shortland - I will email you ere long. How lucky that
Georgie and David are still there of the old brigade, helping to carry on the
tradition. It is now a far cry from the fateful day when I bumped into a
Committee member by accident, who was on his way to a meeting to fold up the
PPP. The Company was on its beam ends, and as I had just finished Newton
Abbott's panto, he asked if he could tell his committee that I would have a go,
as it were. and I did. I press-ganged people from other Societies in the area,
including some good actors from TOADS dramatic, and as I recall, Peter Randall,
and away we went. It brought PPP back to life, and the rest his history. We
never looked back, and had plenty of good talent wanting to be involved, like
Lionel and Jean Roberts, and of course Georgie's daughter, Carolyne.and one of
the best Dames I have ever seen, David Beard, from Widdecombe.
I wish you
all a very great success with this year's Dick Whittington. My daughter Hilary,
who works in the Criminal Justice System in London, has her home in Highgate,
not far from the legendary spot, where Dick heard the bells telling him to
return to London.
I send you greetings from my home in Palm Springs, but
will be on my way with friends, to Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii for the Christmas
period, and I will be pleased to hear how the show went in Paignton when I
return. Love and best wishes to all old friends, and don't forget to smile.

Most of you who read this will have no idea who i am, but to those who do,
Hello.
Its Ben ( you know small, sweet, innocent Ben.........ok just
small). So how is everyone? I was really sorry to miss last years PPP as
i was working like a dog all ove Christmas. My hard work paid off, i did
well in my A-levels and am now celebrating at Cardiff University. Im having
the time of my life up here. I randomly checked the website and saw a few of
you i loved so dearly and couldn't help but get in touch.
How is panto
this year? let me guess.................... Iain is stressing, Helen is
laughing, Colin and Rae are carving, the dancers are falling in love, the
juniors are smiling, Elaine is missing me dearly. Dont worry i miss you too.
Anyway shouldn't really hog your
guestbook so i will sign off. Good luck to

I've visited your website as I'm looking for pantomime scripts to be
used in
my English language classes at Bologna University. I've noticed that you have
a rubric "script" in your website, but there's no link activated yet.
In
particular, I'm interested in those semi-improvised parts where there's
interaction between the actors and the audience, and in those exchanges
between the principals that go, for example: "You'll bring this apples to
your granny"-"Oh, no, I won't"-"Oh, yes, you will"- "Oh no, I won't"-"You
will", etc. etc.
I was wondering if you could recommend some site where I can
download some scripts, or excerpts of the sort mentioned above.

I am a member of YAPS and

Me and Dean are getting brown cause we have hired a sunbed so we are always on

How gutted was i when Will won Pop idol. I was really upset i so wanted
Gatath to win cause he is so sweet.
Anyway Britneys film comes out soon. On

really proud of everyone. We had a fantastic show. The best houses ever in the
last 20 years at Palace Theatre for the panto - 3983 patrons. Thankyou to all
the cast and helpers for being so professional and dedicated. I think we can
