Thought I'd send an e mail to you to say what a great panto you put on this
year!!!!
It is the first time me, my husband, daughter and mother have seen a
pantomine of yours and we have never laughed so much especially at the chap who played silly
billy. My 10 year old daughter thought he was absolutly wonderful!
Well keep up the good work and we hope to see you again this year with
another fab panto.
Well done everybody keep up the good work.

Hi! It's Amanda Bowen here anyone there remember me?
I was just browsing your website great to see you guys are still going. I
was having a laugh at some of the photos on here! One of me as a junior in
Cinderella in 91, 2nd row, 2nd in from right and me as a senior the year after
in exactly the same position!
My last panto with you was Aladdin in 95. I was just remembring i was away
at dance college but had come back to be in the chorus, then i was a dancer as
someone was ill, then i ended up going on a few nights as the princess was ill,
then i went back to a dancer when someone else fell ill!!!
Well i'm back in Chichester, sussex where i originally came from. Teaching
dancing still and i also work in a children's nursery 3 mornings a week.
Well would be great to hear from any 'oldens' who remember me!!
My e mail is Entickbowen@aol.com
Love to all
Manda Bowen x x x
P.s. Iain you havn't changed much!! |

Wishing you all the very best of luck for "Jack and the Beanstalk".
I probably don't know anyone in the Cast now - it has been so long since my days
there, but I am sure all the young things, keeping up the tradition of British
Pantomime, through the PPP, will remember their experiences all of their
lives. Good luck, and as we used to say "Keep smiling and the audience will
smile back" |

Hello, Tanith here (dancer in 'Aladdin').
I can't believe the auditions
are coming up already for 'Jack and the Beanstalk'! I eagerly await seeing all
of the people I met last year and I hope that I get in again this year. I
currently have pink hair, but hopefully that won't scupper my chances! :o) Good
luck to everybody who is auditioning, I'll see you soon.
Loadsa love, Tanith. x
PS. You were all great in 'Guys and Dolls', especially Iain! What a funky
suit. |

Hi! I
came across your Website and
I thought I would send a quick
E-Mail to say what a great website
you have got, and to mention
that I was in PPP back in 86
& 87 'Aladdin' and 'Babes
in the Wood'.
I am now
living in Dudley in the Midlands
and I am a member of BHAOS (
Brierley Hill Amateur Operatic
Society), and a committee member
in charge of Publicity and Press.
I left Paignton to go to Arts
Educational Theatre Schools
in London but unfortunately
nothing came of it professionally,
( Which I still regret sometimes!).
I know our President
Mrs Hazel Millward knows Iain
Douglas, as do I, as he played
the Dame when I was in PPP.
I am now playing the Dame in
Panto and have been for the
last 7 years.
To view
our Website which I put together
the address is www.bhaos.co.uk.
I would like to wish PPP all
the best for future productions
and to thank them for such a
fun time while I was there.
You never know I might be back
there one day.
OH YES
I WILL!

Well, the last few messages say it all don't they. If there are any
browsers out there who fancy joining PPP, then DO IT, because you
will have so much fun. The last night paty was great, so thanks Miles for hosting it. Further to Matt's message, he didn't mention that he
failed miserably at Oblivion. Only 17 and not physically fit enough to cope
with that game. Oooooooooh dear !!! And here's me at 43 breezing
throughto the last stages, beating even Julia and Lucy. Sorry, Julia dear,
you may be supple, but it's a man thing isnt it. With my directors hat
on, many thanks to everyone for all ythe hard work and great times once again. We had a great and very happy cast, and a very very good show,
though I say it myself.

Hi everyone, it's Li Li.
Just writing to congratulate everyone on Aladdin 2003/2004. It's been
great fun to do and looked absolutely great. I'm looking forward to the next
panto already!
The last night was great, so many changes, so many laughs! Not
mentioning any altered letters, drag-queen directors, multi-role choreographers, or
a sand dance with a "false nose". Were there any more? Haha!! What a
great run!!
Thanks for the after show party Miles! It was a good laugh! Oh, and
Iain, next year I'm not having a *cough*-year old beat me at Oblivion! We learnt
a few things last night:
1. To win Oblivion you have to be male. 2. Straight guys can't dance.
and
3. No-one dances like Anton. (Eh, Julia? The look on your
face...priceless)
And a few others...no need to mention them.
Looking forward to Friday night, and strutting my funky stuff on the
dance floor...maybe. Hopefully see you all there!!
From Matt
P.S. Hope you nose gets better Charlotte!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this years pantomime. It was clearly
the skillful direction of Mr Douglas that made it so good, although the energy
and enthusiasm was great. Look forward to seeing you all soon.
