We came to watch you fantastic Panto on Thursday night, and boy were we impressed! Both of us work in the theatre industry, and were impressed by the professional way your pantomime was put together, and with so many hurdles in your way the easy answer was not to do one this year due to the Palace refurbishment. - We are glad that you did, a big pat on the back to you all, from Clive, Emily, Alex and the team backstage for all the technical side to Dean playing Dick and all the cast who did so well and made such an enjoyable professional show for us to enjoy.
WELL DONE ALL!! Can't wait for next year!

hey everyone,
ok so its a week to go before you open and i'm guessing that you're all
dancing and singing your little socks off! well dancing them off more than
singing them off I'm sure!
Looking forward to seeing the panto and most of all seeing you all again!!!
No doubt that once again Paignton Panto will be the best and (more than
likely) most professional Panto in the bay!

I was watching the last Dickwhittington with Georgina and i saw the shrimp outfitis and i don't like them:( I saw Georgie in one and she looked stupid lol jokin???? Any way cant wait till panto starts properly

Hello, its your "loveable" director here !!!! Well, what a good first full run through we had last night. Enjoy your night off tonight and get ready for an even better run through on Sunday evening. I was very pleased and everyone worked so hard. Even Louisa Jenkins managed to be relatively quiet on the sidelines. There was bags of energy, great pace, lots of laughs, and its a nice short show. 1 hr each half (2 hrs 20mins with the interval) so thats good. All the principals really pulled some great work out of the hat. Even Fido the cabbage performed well, although his mentor, Jonathan Hunt (Jack) cant drink and sing at the same time. After everyone had gone last night, Fido let me into a little secret - FIDO IS REALLY A GIRL CABBAGE !!!! |

Karen (Duffs) here wishing you all a Merry Christmas.
First run through last night went fab and scarily well... keep it up and we will blow TQ's out the water but then what does Torquays have we don't... Kemal; enough said!
We have a fab cast, beautiful dancers and a handful of terribly cute and oh so talented little "mini dancers" a sure recipe for success methinks and of course not forgetting we have the best (and most interesting) props. Our new characters Fido and Squid are coming along niceley under the masterful direction of Bob the Bunny and in our ever hightened search for realism I believe some blood was shed during King Rat and Dicks sword fight last night... of course Alex is a master swordsman so i am sure as usual he has it all in hand and Dick had something to tell Alex, oops I meant Alice.
Keep up the enthusiasm I am having an absolute ball as is everyone else and I hope a new crowd of people will join us to share in the fun this year!
Buy tickets...it's going to be fab!

Hi, it's Annabel here i am one of the mini dancers and i wanted to say that
i am having great fun rehearsing for my very first pantomime. I am driving
my 4 big brothers mad singing and dancing every day (i am practising Elaine
and Ian) and can't wait to find out what i will be wearing see you all at
the next rehearsal.

Living miles away in Cambridge, and knowing I am once again not going to see my gorgeous niece Emily Popham on the stage, I am enjoying watching the preparations via your fab site!
Gran & Grandad are up with us for Christmas, but back in time to see the performances - I will sadly miss the chance, so good luck to all and special love to Emily.

Hello Panto Crew 2006! hope everybody is having a fantastical time at rehearsals! i know that i am- some of the musical numbers are looking fab already. and us naughty principals seem to pulling out every innuendo possible from a show about a man with a rather unfortunate name. I blame that Mr. Wagstaff- he is a bad influence on all of us- naughty naughty alan!
Well let's hope this show lives up to last years success, I'm sure it will...... except this year Bob the Bunny is replaced by a singing cabbage and octopus... RANDOM!! however, maybe Bob could make an appearance somewhere... i will have to have a word with him about it though because he is quite expensive nowadays what with his current world tour being such a hit.
