She was born in Devon and began dancing with the Junior
Associates then the Royal Ballet School from 1995 to 2002. In 2001 she won Young
British Dancer of the Year and Silver Medal at the Adeline Genee Awards. The
Royal Academy of Dance subsequently invited her to dance in Japan; she has also
danced in Germany and Salt Lake City. She joined the Company in 2002 and was
promoted to Soloist, 2003. Her repertory includes Souvenirs (Anthony Dowell's
Farewell Gala), Lilac Fairy, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Giselle, Nutcracker,
Manon, Mayerling, Coppelia, Don Quixote and Stateless (Linbury Studio Theatre).
She created La Glace (Les Saisons) and a role in Christopher Wheeldon's Tryst
for The Royal Ballet, and roles in Cathy Marston's Between Shadows and Michael
Corder's Cazzione.
