Congratulations to
PPP member Nick Bye, last seen for the Society
as the Sultan of Morocco in our 2002/2003
production of Dick Whittington. He did not
become Lord Mayor of London then but he
has become the Mayor of Torbay now.
Councillor Bye was
installed as Torbay’s Mayor on the 15th
May 2003 at a ceremony at Oldway Mansion,
Paignton having been re-elected for the
Churston with Galmpton ward on the 1st May
2003. All at PPP send him their good wishes
for what they know will be a very successful
mayoral year.
