Dean Breyley, our Dick Whittington in this year’s PPP production, can first be seen in doublet and hose when he appears with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in their production of “Romeo and Juliet” at the Theatre Royal’ Plymouth from the 2 nd to the 4 th November.
A sweeping score by Sergei Prokofiev and soaring choreography from a legendary master of modern ballet, Kenneth MacMillan, Romeo and Juliet continues to be the all-time classic love story.
Dean will also be appearing in “Stravinsky! A Celebration” a glorious triple bill comprising “Apollo”, “Pulcinella” and “The Firebird” on the 31 st October and 1 st November.
Perhaps Dean can brush up on his sword fighting skills before he confronts that nasty horrible King Rat at the English International Conference Centre this Christmas.
