DID YOU KNOW?

In the 1967 - 1968 production of Dick Whittington the part of Alderman Fitzwarren was played by.... Mr Dick Whittington. Unlike his pantomime namesake he had moved from London ten years earlier and was  chairman of the Paignton Dramatic Section of the P.O.D.C.S. at the time.  

 

PPP APPEARANCE AWARDS  

Paignton Pantomine Productions has produced a pantomime every year since 1935 and like The Windmill Theatre in London we never closed, even in wartime. Therefore since that time 73 pantomimes have been produced and with just 8 programmes to be found 1410 people have been identified as performers who have maintained the high standards associated with the company.
